With St Patrick's day only eight days out, festivity plans are in place.
"It's only fair," Brian Sheehan said in a social media post. "In 2020, we were the first event to be shut down. In 2022, we are the first event with no restrictions. Let's go!! We got some making up to do."
The annual St. Patty's Day Parade starts at 4 p.m. at Main Street Christian Church. The parade route will go south to 3rd Street and then west to the Knights of Columbus. The parade lineup begins at 3 p.m. behind the church.
Immediately following the parade, everyone is welcome to stop by the K of C for music, raffle tickets, and purchase an event T-shirt.
At 6 p.m., it becomes a ticketed event. Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the door. To get tickets, call or text John McCane at 765-561-0727 or email him at [email protected].   All proceeds will benefit local organizations and events. The event will go on until midnight. The Corner Restaurant and Fish Moon plan to have extended hours to serve attendees at the end of the evening.
