    The Rushville co-ed track/field teams each won a 3-way meet Thursday hosted by Waldron, despite chilly conditions. The girls won with 68 points while the boys romped with 97 tallies. Madison Shawe also competed.

    Eight weeks ago, I started my second “School of Thought” series, “A personal view of Mental Health.” The series was seven weeks and a dive into my mental illness, Bipolar 2 disorder. Seven weeks seemed to like more than enough time to cover the topic, but I realized we hadn’t even scratched the surface, and our communities engaged during the seven weeks. Others came forward bravely with their experiences and expertise in hopes to touch a life, even one.

    LION BASEBALL
    The Rushville Lions fell to Lawrenceburg April 19, 11-1. Rushville managed only two hits off Tiger pitcher Ethan Weimer, who also struck out 16 batters.
    Harley Fuller collected both Rushville hits and scored the only Lion run. Adam Sizemore started on the hill and suffered the loss. Kameron Morton also pitched in relief.

    The Rushville Lady Lions’ tennis team traveled south to Lawrenceburg for a match against the Lady Tigers Thursday. Rushville entered the matchup with a team record of 2-5. The home team entered the day with a record of 5-2. Unfortunately for the Lady Lions, the team’s four-match skid continued into five.

The Moscow Covered Bridge boasts a serene setting

The two-span covered bridge came to be the defining characteristic of the small community of Moscow. Beyond its original functionality, the bridge and natural beauty surrounding it makes the perfect site for making warm weather memories with loved ones.

Indiana Commission to Combat Drug Abuse
Indiana’s Commission to Combat Drug Abuse will meet virtually Friday morning. At the meeting, Executive Director for Drug Prevention, Treatment and Enforcement Douglas Huntsinger and other commission members will discuss continued efforts related to the drug crisis. Chairman Huntsinger will make an announcement.
