    Shannon Morrow and RD TK sat waiting on the phone to be picked up in RD's office at Tweedy Lumber Do It Center in Rushville trying to order treated lumber in the beginning of 2020. Shannon had just bought the business in 2019 but knew it should take them a few days and RD had been ordering goods for 40 years. “Hi.” Shannon said, “We'd like to place an order semi load of lumber.”

    It was an all out celebration on Monday, July 26 as Rushville celebrated the five-year anniversary of being named a “Stellar Community” with a ribbon cutting at the Overlook Park.

    RICHMOND – The Rushville Lions’ boys golf season came to an end Monday at Richmond Elks Lodge and Country Club as the team was unable to crack the top three needed for advancement to regional. RCHS fought through a soggy course and an early afternoon shower to finish in fourth place among a dozen competing schools.

Indiana Commission to Combat Drug Abuse
Indiana’s Commission to Combat Drug Abuse will meet virtually Friday morning. At the meeting, Executive Director for Drug Prevention, Treatment and Enforcement Douglas Huntsinger and other commission members will discuss continued efforts related to the drug crisis. Chairman Huntsinger will make an announcement.
